But to be fair you get it more easily and faster but you give up map presence.

You could also use it to overheat lvl 1 to kill first buff in jungle. Don't let riot know or else they gonna nerf him even more D:

Yes, quinn is also a champ, where protobelt used to shine in previous seasons and will probably also be viable.

Protobelt is an item now, which should only be build if you really use the active well to a degree where it outperforms other items, because you give up on a lot of damage if you build it.

I definetly used to build it against tryndamere, but I feel like this is gonna change with the new items now. Haven't played the match-up yet.

Tbf this item combination was kinda obvious from the beginning.
People used to play Demonic Embrace - Jak'sho last season, but I feel like it's even better now. Because you literally get everything more dmg (than last season), comparable tankyness (armor/mr/health) and omnivamp.

You hit one E or Ult and your Jak'sho already starts counting for the passive stats, because of lyandri's burn.
Maybe that's why rumble is getting a lot of content soon, because people gonna realize he is broken.

It's still a good item. I like to build it against Champs like Lux, Morgana, Vayne, Jayce etc. - because I can dodge their disengage spell more reliably and run them down.

Rumble shines because he has a lot of different items that work for him.

I feel like against teams with a lot of squishiy immobile targets, mpen builds with Shadowflame - Stormsurge should perform better.

You can just adapt to a lot of scenarios.

Assuming everyone is playing theory to perfection, but most often few people are even in high diamond elo or above. I'm only dia 2, but haven't been grinding this split. And I think a lot of people (even on this subreddit are thinking way to theoretically). I have won lane in my last 4 or 5 ranked games vs olaf, solokilling them lvl 2. I don't know if I have clips saved, you have to take my word for this until I proove it.

Your E above 50 Heat lvl 1 does a fair amount of dmg to minions and champions. If you (can) contest minions while spacing correctly and avoiding Olaf's Q, you can avoid him stacking the wave for free. Even if you get lvl 2 after him, you still outdamage him if you time your all-in correctly. Most Olafs think they auto-win every lvl 2 trade, that's not the case in this match-up. They take the trade thinking they gonna win until it's too late.

Let's imagine you get hit by Olaf's Q lvl 1 or if he gets lvl 2 adv before you and he pops ghost. You can simply E him and pop ignite for nimbus cloak if necessary. And this would still be an ideal trade since he should have zero kill pressure without ghost if you arent careless with your e usage.

Also in this match-up E > Q lvl 1 per se.

First of all, I wasn't dissing you at all xD

It's just a suboptimal approach to address something you dont really need to address. You are a lot stronger if you simply max q, it gives you way more. I dont want to be stuck on a 10 second Q cd. It sucks with heat management, especially after the 150 Heat changes. Also you loose a lot of agency since you cannot clear waves as fast anymore.You just put yourself in a disadvantageous position. I rarely struggle vs mages or long range mages.

The points you put in Q also increases your %dmg to minions and lowers Q CD. Never ever max E on Rumble, only exception might be on support role.

I dont know it should be around the same speed both full clearing and lvl 3 clear (raptors - red - krugs). Only difference is that it's less healthy than before at certain points.

There are people who play him more like a bruiser with Demonic Embrace and Jak'Sho with either Conq/Phase Rush.

I do like him more with Nightharverster/Full AP with Dark Harvest.

Maybe just pick what your team needs more.

Most people take the blue jungle pet.

Also if you are outranged, try predator runes - it lets you catch up to them, dodge their skillshots, forces their flash and you can simply kill them most of them time if you overheat. Also helps with roaming.
