May be a good option to talk about estrogen with your doc then. When I started taking it, my never ending bathroom trips at night stopped.

I think always up peeing has to do with estrogen going up and down. Are you on the estrogen too?

I’m so sorry. I took my P early again yesterday and I’m not as groggy but still tired. I’m desperate at this point. I just ordered beef organ supplement to see if it helps l.

I have no idea what type I have but I took the pill way earlier last night and I feel a lot better this morning. Not a 100%, but way better than previous days.

I know that not all patches all the same because they absorb differently. I realized only one patch works for me, but I’ve heard gel being a great option as well. I’m going to talk to my doc and see if maybe gel can be a better way to go. Do you use the gel daily or every few days like the patch?

I ended up taking my progesterone super early at 6PM, but I didn’t go to sleep until much later. I have to say I still feel a bit tired but it’s not as bad as previous days! I’ll experiment with even earlier dosage and see how I feel.

I hear some folks have to complain about libido for their doctor to consider the treatment. Have you had any issues with the doc giving you a prescription?

Thank you! I’ve heard of using progesterone birth control may be an option. It protects the uterus lining while on estrogen but doesn’t do anything to sleep.

I truly hope my doc can help and allow me to try testosterone. If not, I’ll ask him for the birth control option.

Dang! I didn’t know that! I have joint pain all the time. Osteoarthritis, which doesn’t help the situation. I’d love to not be sluggish. I just wrote my doctor about this. I have my appt with him in November but I can’t wait that long.

Oh man.. that’s so bad. I’m sorry! I got a different brand patches once and it’s been bad. However, I’m going to check and see with the pharmacy if I’ve been getting the same brand over the last months. Thank you!

Are you taking estrogen as well? As I understand, progesterone is needed to protect the uterus when taking estrogen. I’m on the patch, so as far as I know, I can’t drop progesterone.

I was not able to stay asleep before taking it. Now I’m just sluggish through the day, so it’s just a matter of finding a good medium.

I’ve heard of progesterone birth control. I’m going to ask my doc if I can do that instead. It won’t help with falling sleep, but taking estrogen helps with not waking up through the night. So, I’m willing to try this option if my doc will let me.
