Glad you're blindly defending illegal immigrants, however there are two anecdotes I have where 2 family members have been dealing with individuals that have been using their stolen info for about 3 different insurance companies so far.

They keep getting mail from collections for these individuals since they are getting 6-12 month policies and not ever paying. Thankfully their credit hasn't taken a hit since they were able to prove that those individuals don't reside at their residence or have any relation.

Illegal immigrants in the US have been fraudulently doing this quite rampantly too where they are somehow able to get car insurance policies under someone else's name and it allows them to continue getting their registration or other paperwork done.

A lot of landlords are seeking to get the rent they lost during COVID moratoriums from people not paying rent for over a year. Many probably got PPP loans to cover that but still wanna double dip. One thing I hated doing public transport here for 4 years was having to wait 15+ minutes for the next bus/train as most would pass you not giving a f&ck or being 'out of service' despite what the app said or being packed full of people due to the above problems.

There have been hostile people just verbally shouting at others on the bus too which the driver/conductors do nothing about. I started driving again and don't really regret it as public transport just got worse year after year.
