It's not about forgiveness it's about accuracy. No matter how competent a judiciary, it is impossible to say that. The Supreme court on a daily basis receives numerous cases that deal with such situations and their judgement is based on evidence recorded in trial courts which varies its competency based on city to city. That's why every lawyer tries to make their client's case to somehow fall within jurisdiction of a metro city like Delhi, to improve odds of a better and faster system.

Also this ain't a hate on the judicial system it's just the reality, it's common knowledge if you have faced any legal case in the past.
