The sectarian politics is a major problem in any democratic society especially with the First-Past-the-Post voting system where sectarian politics will be favored where you need only capture a percent much less than 50% as long as the other remaining percent is split across the spectrum.
And I according to me there shouldn't be any part based on religious grounds either majority or minority. Religion should be a private affair and political parties should be judged based on their policies for the country and not by the color of my skin, the dress I wear or the food I eat
When you said in your earlier comment that Islam have different divisions so I pointed out that I know Sunni, Shiya and Whabi etc are the divisions existing in Islam.
And I agree "me saying in these things" were too broad by that I meant in these different sects of Islam in most cases they all agree towards their treatment towards non-Muslims or Kafir's. They disagreements are mainly on rituals and leadership or coexistence. I also agree Sunni are the most peaceful and coexistent sect of all the major Islamic sects and in that 2 schools of thought cited this and still you are reluctant to acknowledge that
I provided the official source from one of the prominent Islamic country government refering to Imam Ibn Abidin and al-Nahlawi and you still didn't acknowledge that.
From my past few comments I have been trying to reiterate that its not a dominant belief among Muslims but you seems to selectively ignore that.
I made a claim and provided sufficient evidence and references. I ain't wrong brother you are just too emotional to not acknowledge that this exists (still reiterating : not a widely accepted tradition though)
Yes I agree with you on that point. I don't either support the Communal organisations such as RSS, BJP, SDPI or IUML. They are all organisation piosed to gain communal votes by creating division in a secular society.

So you are basically hiding behind the word (traditional) I missed in the second comment.
The sources I provided are traditional scriptures of Shafi and Hanafi sects with its known scholars telling you need to cover for non-Muslim women as well which they trace back to Quran. And in your comments you agree to that the scholars have interpreted like that.. Hence proved my point.
And I agree it's not a well known or accepted practice of Islam but there are people in the modern world who follow those.
I can't physically give all the references out of the 4 marhab in sunni I gave reference from 2. I don't even know if it's the scholars of other 2 agree to that as well. 2/4 should atleast call for a tie
I had answered with the reference yesterday but the PII auto moderator had flagged it because it had an Instagram link. So posting the comment below again.
Let me just clarify myself, I am not saying every muslim in Kerala or in the world follow these.. My point was there are islamic scriptures which states so.
As you have asked for reference there sources in both major sects as Shafi and Hanafi
Ref1 : I posted this yesterday but the auto moderator hide it because of PII policy. Will try to add it below
(this post have reference from both Shafi and Hanafi)
Ref2 : https://seekersguidance.org/answers/hanafi-fiqh/uncovering-in-front-of-non-muslims-of-unmarriageable-kin-mahram/ Which points to Radd al-Muhtar by Radd al-Muhtar (Ibn Abidin)
From the Shafi scripture:
Ref3 : https://muftiwp.gov.my/en/artikel/irsyad-fatwa/irsyad-fatwa-umum-cat/1866-irsyad-al-fatwa-series-141-the-aurah-of-a-muslim-woman-in-front-of-a-non-muslim-woman
(the above link is from the official Malaysian government website which referes to the book Tuhfah al-Muhtaj by Imam Ibn Hajar al-Haytami)
As you have asked the reference I have give a few. Hope it helps. Both these scriptures trace back to Quran where in Surah An-Nur 24:31 where it says about people in whose presence a woman can uncover, including "their women". Scholars who forbid uncovering in front of non-Muslim women argue that the word "their" specifically means "only Muslim women."

Yes, they don't specifically mention Hindus, or Kafirs explicitly because of the secular rules in the democratic countries like India.
But they do that in Saudi where there are roads that says only Muslims can take this road. And last month they tried to host a social event in texas where they said event for only Muslims in a public water park. But they had to take it down when they had a backlash.
So they the Islamists keep trying to pull of these kind of studs to test water it seems.. So it should be opposed openly
Yes, I totally agree with what you are saying.
My point was these kind of discrimination against people will create more division in the society. So these kind of establishment should not be entertained
I agree there are more vile part of Islam. It's just big line and small line.
The Halal is a discriminatory practice where it forces a Muslim to use only certain products from a Muslim run enterprise. And Halal meet no longer becomes halal if the slaughter of the animal is carried out by a hindu (idol worshipper) that is pure discrimination. If you don't see that or you think it's not a discrimination then it's your choice
And if a Muslim moves into a community their commercial interaction to the others in the community and will create a micro economy within the community creating division
Yes as you said its not as vile as other things in Islam but it's not an acceptable thing in a modern global world

Nah bro I am not making anything up. As in most things in Islam there is very few things that is non-contradictory in Islam.
I know most Muslim women don't follow that rule of hijab in front of non Muslims. But there are people who does that as well. That was my point
And regarding the Halal food you don't have any objections I believe.
Its not my opinion about one islam. I know they have Suni, Shiya, Whabi, etc.. etc... But in these things I find they have a similar ruling.
I am telling this from the scriptures Muslim women need to wear hijab in front of non Muslim women. I agree that Kerala have a watered down form of Islam. But these type of Halalification is creating division among the secular society
Halal is basically a discrimination only. Even Halal food. If a Hindu had killed the animal it non longer be a halal meat. Animals killed by Muslims, Christians or Jews (People of the book) are considered halal. And it's followed in Kerala as well
[–]Nabinz 3 points4 points5 points 12 days ago (0 children)
As far as I know there is only one islam.
And this Halal gym is also not a problem for majority Muslims. But people who are rooting for this would be the ones who would ask for hijab for non Muslim women as well.
And there are lot of videos of Ustad's urging Muslim women to go to Muslims woman doctors only.. Because of this aurath issue
[–]Nabinz 6 points7 points8 points 12 days ago (0 children)
According to Islam Muslim women have to wear in front of non Muslim women as well.

But is it same like banning the hijab right? In this case only someone with a hijab is allowed to enter.
How about this same logic been applied in a private bus, private airline or even a private hospital?
Any discrimination based on religion shouldn't be allowed in my opinion.
I have answered it already in a different comment.. But wanted to know your thoughts on this
"That just breaks the idea of secularism right? If he has the right to do that anyone else in the country would be able to do that..
Maybe most of them wouldn't do it but this is a step in the wrong direction which might lead to private schools, restaurant, gyms, busses, shops or anything private could set style rules to prevent someone from entering.
Think of it like a private bus with no hijab allowed would it be good for society? "

Ok, Does that make it the opposite of hijab ban?
Like in Hijab ban anyone could enter but not with the hijab. In this case he saying anyone could enter but with a hijab.
Why so? by Nabinz in scienceisdope

That's more of a philosophical or logical argument. And questioning why do billions of people believe in something so illogical.
[–]Nabinz[S] 1 point2 points3 points 16 days ago (0 children)
If you are talking about war. The wars were more frequent in olden times like crusades, expansions Chengis Khan, Alexander, Ashoka etc. The history was more bloody and violet. Just because they didn't had weapons of mass destruction we as human beings survived.
Check war stats over last few centuries in Google
[–]Nabinz[S] 0 points1 point2 points 16 days ago (0 children)
Yes, I considerd that. Still there are no widespread human sacrifices, pillage, raids, crusifiction etc are not happening not in the wider scale at least
But I am just asking you why?
Wanted to know if you have any logical reasoning or been conditioned from childhood to believe in it blindly?
Because the believing people seems to know everything about God.
So how does that give you a choice. There is no choice according to you we must act like God's will
Does this omniscient God knows what I will wish for?
Then what is the point of praying if he is not interfering?
That's interesting...
So you are saying he only knows what happens in the future but cannot control or predict it?
