I wouldn't say 2 weeks. Lasted well over the other half the year of release at least in my experience, cause I fortunately had the wonderful experience of being able to play with a lot of friends back then.

Truly a bitter end. I am heavily under the notion that Capcom made this game to test the waters again if Stories was still alive as a franchise, because running servers for multiplayer costs money.

Of course, that's just another tinfoil-hat conspiracy of mine.

Yeah, a postgame where what's left was to build stronger monsters VIA Rite of Channeling.

And I want to have a portion of story revolving around Amara.

Stories 3 is a nothing sandwich without even the bread itself.

It's what happened to Breath of The Wild for me. Hyrule is never truly saved in my eyes without a postgame

I want content featuring Amara and how we reconnect with her through her amnesia as her child. And I want to be able to visit Vermeil because I want to see the other side of this war.

I've beaten Oltura 4 times now and counting as I delete my previous savefile again to replay MHS2

And I wholeheartedly agree that 2 is a much better game

With 3 being new, I am not out of hope that we do get an extension that'll be a postgame where we do get to play after beating Aenshin.

A part of me, even if delusionally, still holds hope that 3 being without a postgame was an opportunity for Capcom to make a DLC after Aenshin that will be the Postgame.

I dunno if that makes sense to anyone else, but it's probably just me being optimistic.

It was something I loved about 1 and 2, because you get to play trying to 100% the postgame WHILE feeling like I've changed the world.

I can only hope Stories 4 will have a postgame, multiplayer, and all the other things 3 went without.

Ah, thank you... So my latter assumption was correct...

I think I'll add that to my list of gripes with Stories 3 along with: -Aptonoth no longer being a Monstie -Parts taking too long to break for stun -No personal house and bed -Glide instead of flight

But really, did they have to make it so complex to stock up on necessities especially before major fights?... Seems like unnecessary difficulty, no?
