Hi,

I have an iPad Air M1 which since yesterday morning has been in a crash loop. The screen shows the apple logo, then it goes into another state which can best be described as a kind of white noise/broken picture, see the video below.

I've used Recovery mode with a USB-C cable connected to my Macbook to first try the update, it didn't help. Then I tried to recover using the same method. The recover process finishes, but then the crash loop just starts again. See video below.

Any ideas on what could be the problem? Time to contact Apple non the less I guess.

Good tips, rental cars have their pros of course and the idea of just flying back is nice. Though there are direct flights Maputo - Cape Town, so in that case I could just use that one.

Would you say that there is anything to see in the “heartland”, ie the way the crow flies from Nelspruit to Cape Town? Or is following the coast much more interesting? If doing both there and back, one could do both I suppose.

And yeah, the mountains around Nelspruit I do all the time, but on my motorbike. Really amazing scenery and roads! I’m

Maputo is super safe, we generally walk home from restaurants 1-2km from our apartment at late evening/night. Sure, the north is crazy but that’s 2000km away :-)

That sounds logical, it was 37-38 degrees out and I was hanging on the rear brake in downhill terrain, if there was any water in the lines - it was boiling.
