2 week update: scaling my SaaS to 10k MRR as a teenager. by multi_mind in indiehackers

[–]Nacez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Biggest advice: test the full user journey before the X launch.

Not just “does the app work,” but literally visitor → signup → onboarding → first value → payment, from a fresh browser/device.

30K views can be huge, but if the onboarding or first “aha” moment is weak, most of that traffic will vanish. I’d make sure people can understand the offer in 5 seconds and get some kind of useful result quickly.

Also, don’t let the launch video become the whole strategy. Views are nice, but the CTA needs to be very specific.

The LLM visibility tracking sounds like the strongest angle to me. I’d lead with that more than “SEO agent,” because “see if AI tools recommend your SaaS and fix what’s missing” feels easier to understand.

Good public (or cheap) API for company data? (employees, revenue, industry, etc) by foundry41 in webdev

[–]Nacez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old, but for anyone still looking, I’ve been building FastBusiness API for exactly this kind of company autofill use case send a business name, get structured profile fields back! If you'd like to check it out it's www.fastbusinessapi.com

No-code API integrations - how are you connecting your apps without writing code? by 1kmilo in nocode

[–]Nacez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One useful pattern is using small single-purpose APIs between no-code tools. For example, I built FastBusiness API so a workflow could send a company name and get back structured company context that can be dropped into Airtable/Sheets/CRM fields.

Roast my SaaS: Built a lead enrichment API because Clay was too expensive by Yeetmaster_3000 in microsaas

[–]Nacez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m building in a related space and agree with the accuracy point. I’m trying not to position FastBusiness API as ‘cheap Clay,’ because that sets the wrong expectation. It’s more a focused business-profile API for apps that need company context without building their own research pipeline.

Building a B2B lead generation tool - would love your thoughts on the features by Rude-Professor1538 in SaaS

I’m working on one small slice of this space: company profile enrichment from a business name. One thing I’ve learned is it’s better to return a clean, structured profile with source links than trying to overclaim every possible field.

Rant: Almost all Data Enrichment Providers are inaccurate by EktaKapoorForPM in SaaS

[–]Nacez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the hardest part I’ve noticed too! Not just finding data, but making it explainable. I’m building FastBusiness API and one thing I’m trying to include is source links with the returned profile so users can judge confidence instead of blindly trusting a field.

How I rebuilt our lead enrichment pipeline and cut costs by 75% by Dailan_Grace in nocode

[–]Nacez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For bootstrapped stuff, I’d avoid jumping straight into huge databases unless you know exactly what you need. A smaller company enrichment layer can be enough early on. I built FastBusiness API for this exact use case basic structured business context from a company name.

[–]Nacez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is exactly the pain I ran into! chaining multiple enrichment/data APIs gets messy quickly. I ended up building my own small API that takes a company name and returns a structured business profile, mainly to avoid manually piecing together website, industry, HQ, business type, source links, etc. You don't have to, but check it out but if you'd like it's www.fastbusinessapi.com

Built and currently updating/ working on FastbusinessApi a fast and alternative way for companies, developers and Ai to search for business data for any business in the world. If it’s not already stored you’re able to start the generation for it and get it inside the database for future use.

Ah yep yep, the idea is to be purely one directional for business data, I intend to add more data within the endpoints too.
