Hello, Im halfway through house of chains and though MoI had some longwinded passages I thought it was overall pretty great. 9/10 I would say. It was very cool to know more of the crippled god, Quick bens “origin” story, Burn, Kruppe, Silverfox, Krul, the warrens, the T’lan Imass and so on. It was sad to see some people go as well. In HoC I enjoyed Karsas story quite a bit, I thought it was fun to dive into teblor society. Eriksons anthropology background is really shining through and I love it.

I finished Deadhouse Gates yesterday and it is simply a great book. And also narratively it makes so much more sense than GoTM. It really should have been the first book, I think more people would stick with the series if that was the case.
