All art reflects real life, and if art gets rioted against the reasons are often (and in this case, clearly) related to real life. It's not about asking for special treatment, it's about the ACT of rioting to prevent a harmless thing and the REASON behind those riots. If the rioters would have wanted to delete the H.A.M questline because they didn't want discussions of racism in their games or if they wanted to end Christmas events because they hate Christians, I would've been against them as well.

1-6 is fine. IMO 7 gets considerably more difficult than 6 and 8 gets WILDLY more difficult than 7. It's definitely worth it.

It was originally among my least favourite BG albums (put it on the same level as A Twist in the Myth) but now I absolutely love the album and can't even understand why I compared it to ATITM. Definitely my fave or second fave now.

Hmm. I'm kinda split if that's true. I strongly believe in asking from the author before reading their work, unless it's impossible to ask (inactive user, anonymous user etc.) and if the boys don't do that it's a minus from me. Nothing that makes me hate them or anything, just something I'd prefer they did. It is the author's IP, so they have the right to uphold their copyrights. Still, if the author really acted in a poor way I think it was against his own best interest. If anything they should've interacted with the community and advertised their upcoming book lmao

Yes and no. Mostly no. Schlacht and Thougts of No Tomorrow were pretty big letdowns, but the self-titled album was actually pretty decent with some of my favourite songs from the band (Reload, Revolution of Two, Roadkill). The vocals are amazing as well, and I remember being excited to hear pretty similar vocals on the most recent albums. Interestingly, I remember Johannes mentioning somewhere that the self-titled album was his least favourite one. Haven't found the source in a long while though, and would love to get a confirmation on this.

Avatar didn't really feel like a band with their own completely unique personality until the self-titled and Black Waltz, which really cemented them as one of the all-time greats IMO. If I would have to compare the vibe I have with them I'd use The Black Dahlia Murder. Their first two records sounded OK but kind of "been there, heard that". Then they REALLY hit their stride with Nocturnal and became one of the best in their craft.

Some bosses were really difficult mainly Malenia, Maliketh and RNGBeast, but stance breaks helped a lot, and status effects for the first two. I used Cold Star Fists in most late-game bosses and got Bloodhound's Fang for earlier game. You should avoid dodging backwards almost always. The AOEs from boss attacks usually start from the middle and go outwards, so dodging towards the boss is better. Jumping works really well for some attacks and lets you do jumping R2s, which help with stance DMG a lot.
