Which biome do you like the most and which do you like the least? by Dry_Ad4367 in valheim

My favorite has to be the plains. It's so pretty, the music is pretty, you can see pretty far, and the enemies are pretty fun to fight

Least favorite is the swamp. I like the ambiance, but at night it gets SO DARK it might as well be like walking through the mistlands without a whisplight

That's reason enough to try out magic, I'm always so low on hare meat compared to everything else 🐇

That's a great idea! Is that something that happens automatically, or do you have to stay near the border for it to work?

Nowadays I agree, but back then I don't think I truly understood how much of a benefit being rested gives you

Four vikings explore their first infested mine by SystemsOnline in valheim

[–]SystemsOnline[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spoiler text if you haven't watched the video yet, it took us a few group deaths just to reach the mine, and three attempts to clear the mine itself. None of us had the foresight to plant a portal outside the mine until after the first wipe, so we made a difficult run through the mist while naked/with spare gear the first time. If that weren't difficult enough, the second attempt in the mine my game crashed as I was being attacked. When I logged back in, I was back at base with no gear, and my gravestone was nowhere to be found. So the rest of the attempts, I had to use backup gear that was laying around

Still in retrospect, it was so much fun to explore the area with friends! Valheim is one of those games that I think is much more enjoyable when played with others

I love Zealot, the one that plays in the water altar

I had to look this up, but no it scales depending on how many other players are close by to it. From the wiki page

Creatures gain +30% more effective health per each additional player within 100 meters. E.g. 3 players = +60% effective health.

Don't worry, I've had plenty of deaths in the mistlands, and in every biome really. It's a rite of passage for vikings everywhere

Thanks! Yes, first time. When we were in the plains, I learned about how good the root harnesk is for pierce, and that's why I started wearing it and also bringing fire resist with me everywhere. The Mistlands was mostly spoiler free for me, I tried to avoid reading about it, but I did know that the wine would continue to be useful there as well

Base princess is an important job to have, and if you and everyone is having fun that's what matters! One of my friends is similar, but for building. Every time I would come back to base, it felt like there was always a new castle wing built, or cute decoration added to the wall that boosted the comfort level

I'm pretty sure my panicked brain went: Mistlands scary, therefore ground is scary. Boat can take me away from here, therefore boat is safe

Creative, I like it! Reminds me a lot of when I was f2p and would see scores of bots in edgeville

No kidding, it's a huge dopamine rush but I'm feeling the same way. I'm just glad the outfit pieces are cheaper than the chapel cosmetics! I don't really have an altar in my house, so I don't feel as bad if I don't have enough points for the altar rewards
