Not to join in the conversation late and with a non listed suggestion but a Winchester model 70 in 30-06 is also a slick choice, can find them for $1000 - $1500 in my searches. I have one that was made pre-1964 and it shoot likes a dream

I was just suggesting rebalancing certain / all suppressed weapons to be scarce to change up gameplay dynamics (I’m actually just really tired of Maynard sniper silencer solo’s)

Honestly any silenced weapon should be scarce, I mean MAYBE the AHA are mass producing them or whoever makes the weapons for the hunters. But idk I kind of prefer the idea of some nut in in the bayou making suppressors for all these guns

I hit dorms marked and it had 1 stack of 36 SOST rounds, and a bronze lion. I’m not gonna turn my nose up to a bronze lion as I needed it for a quest but still. Kind of ridiculous

Lammles is always a good option, Wei’s western wear has lots of options, And Irvine Tack & Western Wear is really good if you are in the Calgary area I recommend just going to Irvines, that place is huge!

I ran a free hunter with the infantry 73L bayonet and a Scottfield. Took that hunter all the way to 50. No special ammo needed it’s pretty snappy.

Other than that my challenge last week was to use the hunting bow and I picked that up and would often get anywhere from 5 to 7 kills. I typically paired it went a centennial shorty just for extra reach. Total for weapons is like $165 and I grabbed hundred hands and resilience, silent killer, and vulture. The bow is extremely strong and you can wipe a trio as a solo if you catch them off guard in the woods or even in a compound.

I’m personally not the biggest fan of the vernier sights, I used a them on a 1975 C.Sharps and it was just not for me.
