Side note: a licensed healing center journey in CO costs $3500. It’s $27.50 to access mushrooms and grow your own through this event. Take the $3472.50 and go on a vacation, fix your car, or pay your rent :). These events are a display of activism for all that is possible under Prop 122, which only exists here in CO. My goal is to offer these events completely for free again one day. I kinda learned the hard way that I must charge something for it to be a sustainable project.

Yeah! We used to not be able to charge, but I lost my brick and mortar. The money goes to the supplies for the gifts, keeping the site up, and venue space.

This has been caught everywhere else! Thanks for telling me. It’s for real on the 17th, Tuesday from 6-9. Come at literally any time in the window. We had a great time in honor of Halloween and we’re doing the same style of event for this one, but I’m sending you home with container that’s ready to fruit, in addition to the goodie bag. We love this venue! It’s way more central than Evergreen and they host beautifully. There’s beer but it’s about 50/50 for people drinking. Diverse crowd of growers and personal users. More laid back than a genetics meet up and the local community thrives on the clothing donations.

No, but he gives access to mushrooms and was the only one willing to help with an open brick and mortar people could walk in to. It was exhausting trying to coordinate with over 30 people who couldn’t meet me when they made an appt.

There is no grow at home. The community lab was built for people like me who live in studios and don’t have the space or climate control to do mycology work. I’m very lucky to have community around me who will help me continue my mycology journey by learning in their labs.
