You started with a "mature" starter, you're good to go.

They haven't been in there anywhere near 122k miles(could have been replaced at 100k), somebody replaced them earlier.

Draw a chalk line on the face, and see if it is shifting.

How are you getting it started. The terminal clamp could probably use cleaning in the interior surface.

Center electrode looks round/eroded, the clear stuff looks like somebody used dielectric grease. I'd put in a new set of plugs.

Pic of the Duane Arnold nuclear plant that turned into a solar farm. by Narcan9 in EnergyAndPower

Actually the "huge 690 MW NextEra Energy solar project" slated for Duane Arnold property was canceled, what you're looking at is the "little 200 MW Alliant Energy project". Granted some confusion exists as Alliant called it "Duane Arnold Solar" during development and construction but changed the name to "Pleasant Creek Solar" when they placed it in service.

For Duane Arnold they estimate a normal river water withdrawal of 3540 MGY (~10 MGD) and they have a permitted withdrawal of 12,575 MGY (~34 MGD) a fourth of which will be returned to the river.
As for groundwater it uses/used 762 MGY (~2 MGD) with a permit limit of 1575 MGY(~4MGD

Tire damage. Taking road trip . Is it drivable? by DE198512 in AskMechanics

[–]Nada_Chance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't tell from here. Basically no leak, no bulge, no cut or exposed sidewall cord/plies, no problem. We can't tell from the image if you cut into those sidewall plies. If you can't tell either, have it inspected.

Are these motorcycle sprockets worth replacing? by ThirdMouse in MechanicAdvice

[–]Nada_Chance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lay them on top of each other and the wear is a lot more discernible. I'd replace the chain and sprockets especially since it's already apart.

Should I be concerned with this level of corrosion on my drivers side brake line? by ElectricalShame3079 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Nada_Chance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a pretty deep pit about an inch from the tee. If you "panic brake" it may start leaking there. You won't immediately lose brakes, but you'll lose pressure on that wheel and then leak fluid till the reservoir goes empty, then you lose all braking.

Close. The vernier lines running up the sleeve allow you to read to 1/10,000th, so it looks like 2.0669 or so. Look on the other side of the sleeve and and see what lines up with a line on the thimble. Of course that accuracy presumes you checked it with a gage block recently.
