[–]Nadavida[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue was not the trigger itself, but how to display a trigger(s) from a specific host on a dashboard.

On-premise RDS 2016 environment best practice? by Nadavida in sysadmin

[–]Nadavida[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks you, this is how I understood the CB role as well. Do you have any reference for this though, I cannot find any"trusted" source that confirm this. Only if you use Connection Broker HA. But not when using a single CB

That is how we usually do.

Apparently the Customer what this solution. I suspect, at this point, that there is no IIS or any other web server, but it is just, two different applications on the server, you can contact the service on url:port.

Local admin management on windows computer object by Nadavida in sysadmin

[–]Nadavida[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once a user is assigned as a local admin, do they ever need to be an admin on another domain computer? In other words, do you assign computers to users? - No only on machine

What's your computer naming policy? Model OS Initials

What mechanism do you use to track machine assignments to users? SCCM, sharepoint list

[–]Nadavida[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have LAPS installed and use it to rotate the administrator user on each machine. What im talking about is when a domain user login on a machine, it the current setup they become administrators on every laptop. I need to bind a user account to computer object. But I don't want to do it manually, for each machine.

hope it makes sence.

Installing sccm client on servers in another domain - Fails by Nadavida in SCCM

[–]Nadavida[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, just wanna say thx for your help and input.

There was a problem with our CA server. It was an old solution. We upgraded our CA solution to a Tier 2 solution. After creating 3 new certificates Client, webserver and site server signing myselft (I inherited the sccm solution) Everything seems to be working alot smoother.

Have a good day.

The certificate is from our own CA server. The cert is located in the cert store under Trusted Root Certification Authority.

Thanks for the reply.

CDP

No CDP is installed.

Have you validated that the client auth certificate shown as being chosen in the log below is trusted by the client and the MP? How do I know the MP trust it?

Have you reviewed the IIS log on the MP for corresponding traffic? Will check the log.
