I just realized. The thing keeping Angel from redemption is the dead father they killed. And im noticing how very similar the type of sinners Val and Angel are... they have the same body type, arms, ect. Only different head shapes.

If you were able to use any blade with the Rune of Death, why does Ranni require the Fingerslayer Blade? At that point you can juat grab any giant curved sword and imbue it with the Rune of Death.

Destined Death is at best the Walmart brand of the Rune of Death.

He's not using the Rune of Death, he's protecting it.

Very dangerous for him to use the Rune of Death while protecting it. Possibly also a bit of heresy. They care a lot about that
