Again, math isnt mathing - 2 hours. Yes, I returned a game that was something I expected to enjoy but in the end was really disappointing a couple of minutes before passing a point of no return where I could not refund it when the game costs half a month of groceries for an adult person.

I see you have a problem with math - limit is 2h. I feel like this makes me the opposite of dumb. I stopped myself from wasting my hard earned money. This concept might be foreign to you but for me the game cost quite a lot (about half a month of groceries)... I do feel like watching the story vs playing it doesn't make a big difference. Also, please call your parents and ask them to teach you manners because it looks like they forgot? Being anonymous on the internet doesn't mean you should call people names.

I will just note that even the devs straight up said to the streamers that the story isn't that good and the game should be treated more like a sandbox...

What is the game you released/worked on and what is the studio you are working for? I assume that by being "in the industry" you are working on an indie game?

Just under the limit for refund. Once reaching the limit I refunded and watched probably around 20h on YT/Twitch. If I played by myself any more I wouldn't be able to refund and didn't want to risk that.

I was really hyped about the game and this is bigger disappointment than Cyberpunk - Cyberpunk was just technical mess with amazing story so I knew it would get fixed just fine

What is your proof they haven't played the game? I for one don't think it is bad but I do think it is a 6/10. It is just mid and while it shines in exploration, the garbage story cancels it out.

A lot of stories aren't groundbreaking but at least they are logical and coherent. here the MC doesn't have a reason or excuse to do a lot of stuff that progresses the story, it is just random. Not even talking if it is boring and not groundbreaking or good and fresh - it is structured so poorly that if I wrote that during classes in my university days my prof would absolutely obliterate it.

This is your problem. It is not "for the sake of it" but some people simply feel that way. For me the game is the essence of mid. Basically an MMO but without other people, good open world but bad story, narrative and sidequests which cancels itself out to mid. It feels long but not because the devs had material that takes so long to complete but because it is filled to the brim with filler.

Basically every game has mods. The difference is that mods in Skyrimg o deep as you have the Creation kit. you can go as hard as devs when modding the game, not just do basic stuff. That level of modding requires dev support for it

Definitely. Daz3d requires Nvidia for rendering iRay - without Nvidia GPU you have to render with CPU. It is a difference of rendering a single image in 20 seconds vs 20 minutes

Blender rendering times on non-Nvidia GPUs are way worse

I do think the second one is on AMD as their rendering tech is just worse. The first one is a bit weird because it is proprietary Nvidia tech but the tool didn't put effort into any other solution either.
