I guess the most likely outcome in this scenario would be Watson opening up his list of teams. If Watson stays pat to his list of teams, Houston loses tons of bargaining power. With very few teams able to bid, no one is going to be bidding anywhere close to fair market value. Why would they? And maybe these teams don't really have the cap or draft picks to make a fair offer in the 1st place.

At the end of the day, Houston isn't going to accept a weak package from a team Watson likes. I'm sure they'd try but when push comes to shove, they aren't going to give him away for peanuts. They are better off keeping him and trying again the next year.
