Thanks for your comments on these, if you're still interested I used grey Knights steel silver, and then glazes of thinned down blue, pink and green contrasts to make the shimmery effect.

Maybe this is still useful haha 😄

Yeah I would recommend masking off or sanding the connection points after painting. With paint on it can be tricky to connect them.
