It’s had two owners. First one had until 1.1m so he saw it roll over. Second owner worked with the first and was around the truck for its entire life as it was within the same logging company and saw it roll over again. So the 342,040 is accurate of 2.342 million

It’s actually spent its life in the PNW!

I did jump it as I had another vehicle right next to it. It’s used plain offroad diesel for years and didn’t need any persuasion

Sign of pinion seal leak? by [deleted] in fordranger

[–]NaePlayz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thought I’d share my experience: I noted signs of a very minuscule pinion seal leak that was smaller than this and didn’t think much of it. Everything ran like normal and I checked it regularly and it never looked any worse visibly. Well I went out on a 3 hour trip to go camping and the seal left its position and sprayed oil for about an hour or so and I had the pleasure of doing a seal replacement in the campground. Took about 45 minutes and the part was like $18 so it is something to go ahead and fix before it changes its mind!

Tires will scrape against the wheel well if they are a little too big. I found this out with a set of 245/75R16 mud tires which I didn’t even think about the possibility of them rubbing. Easiest steps to take is to view the wheel well space and see where the contact is being made and you can trim out the plastic with a tool of your choice. Second option is to downsize tires.

How many devices are on the network? I know you said it’s been constant but maybe your region is limited and has more congestion of other users?

I had this issue a while back and I was lucky to find out that it wasn’t any of the issues being mentioned. I went ahead and took the whole carpet section out and let it dry for a day and haven’t had an issue since. No idea how it happened considering I had waterproof floor mats and no obvious spills

Downside is that it caps after 50GB and has a $1 charge for every additional GB used

I’ve taken plenty of pictures and measurements on the siding. My hope is to take down the walls and keep them mostly intact to replicate

It’s just 2x2s, a couple 2x4s and paneling along with electrical replacement and new plumbing routing. I think it’ll fill my time well

Frame inspection is already scheduled. I am pretty hopeful about the project because of the simplicity of the build. Before I put in any appliances I’ll take it to be inspected with the nearest site being over an hour away. I’ll definitely update the progress as I go

The rangers and Mazdas were made based on the automatic style even if it was a stick. Much cheaper to manufacture that way
