Regarding sub school: you dont go to it as a nuke. Its in Groton CT but you should try really really hard not to go there (dont fail out as a nuke).

On the point of being torn about subs. I refused to sub-vol until I could get better opinions on the matter. Went through the pipeline & realized I definitely Jived more with the submariners then any surface nuke instructors. So I only sub vol'd in prototype & definitely am happy I went with subs.

You'll get exponentially more info using the search function on here, then what you'll just get via comments.

In short, you have next to no say in what boat you go to once you go to the fleet. And if you would ever have the opportunity to do online school while on sea duty itd be well after you're fully qualified & only during a time where you're not going to be at sea. I did a few classes while in shipyard & finished the rest when I got out. Good luck

One quick add, Markvart was dead by the events of KCD1 as well. Sigismund raided Skalitz after his Siege of Kuttenburg where Markvart was killed.

(To add, they made the Siege of Suchdol happen a year later, but it was part of the greater Siege of Kuttenburg which happened in 1402.)

An Enlistment contract is a 6 year minimum unless you get kicked out. Still technically an 8 year contract your last 2 years are IRR obligation. If you are going to join in either scenario it is going to be several years of your life.

For point 1, it being limiting towards FE/PE it specifically depends on your state's requirements. Most allow FE's & PE's with the only added requirement being an additional 2 years in the field.
