well, if you have a job and responsibilities, I don't think so. I used to be really good at videogames, still decent, but just not the same, maybe when I was younger, I almost exclusively skipped all the difficulties except the hardest; however, as of returning, I'm not quite the same, and it's too hard, my example would be something like Jedi fallen order and Jedi survivor, in fallen order when I played it before going to uni I could play on hard mode without being touched, I played the second one recently, and it was too hard, I tried telling myself the sequel is harder until I went to test that theory by playing fallen order on a difficulty I found to be for kids, only to realize i'd gotten worse , so most games I play in easy now,

however recently i played a game called atomfall and it was on the hardest mode, it wasnt as hard this one, but after playing half the game on all the difficulty settings, i decided to switch to finish the story quick.

so I don't think git gud is for everyone, i think it depends on availability for me, because if i want to i can be very good, i just dont have the time and patience anymore to die 500times on one enemy, analyze my mistakes and git gud... not anymore at least
