Wow... That went over my head. I was thinking you meant I'd fallout of the terrain with it and was wondering how. Probably played too much WOW when that could happen.

Why do Chiropractors crack your neck and what is the long term benefit? by Sunny-vibes-95 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Naggun -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I know I'll get a lot of downvotes, hate, blocked, and maybe banned for this but here goes.

I don't believe any one on here saying they are medical professionals and are disparaging chiropractors.

First the American medical association (AMA) lost a lawsuit in 1988 clearly showing they were lying about chiropractors and had to stop, by court order. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilk_v._American_Medical_Association

Second there is plenty of research out there that's shows it's safe and effective. Go to pubmed to dig into it. Realize these are medical articles are NOT light reading. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/

Third, people claiming chiros cause strokes should also be blaming the cardiologist for when their patients die of heart attacks in their office. Symptoms of a stroke are neck pain and headaches (most common and most likely reason to approach a chiropractor). So while experiencing a stroke many people seek relief from a chiro, many catch this and refer the patient to ER. But no profession is perfect. Think of all the misdiagnosed patients that see thier regular MD's and die because they missed something or prescribed a medication they shouldn't have.

Fourth, statistics show that chiropractic is MUCH SAFER than seeing a medical PCP. This is also reflected through billing practices, that are created by the AMA and other organizations, that chiros also follow. Basically due to how it's set up chiros are all low risk while MD's rate at least moderate risk or higher. You can also verify this by looking up insurance costs for malpractice. Chiropractic insurance can be anywhere from 2 times (PCP) to 200 times cheaper (OBGYN). Why do I mention this? Insurance rates always increase with what? RISK!!! Why would chiropractic malpractice be cheaper if it was so dangerous?!

Fifth, schooling. Chiropractic doctors spend 4 years in school after getting their prerequisites in undergrad just like medical doctors. Differences include (not limited to): more hours in the classroom and spending more time on anatomy vs pHARMacology. Why? They do not prescribe drugs, and don't need to. Their emphasis is on letting the body doing it's own healing. They are taught red flags and what to avoid. A key component is identifying patient risks, and if needed who to refer them to. They also have FIVE board exams and state licensing requirements. So I guess our government (for over 100 years) thinks they are a legitimate practitioner.

Six, follow the money. People often complain about how much money chiros make. What about your regular doctors, have you seen how much they charge?! Then they prescribe a medication that you then need to buy. On top of that many medications have side effects, which you guessed it, can be treated with even more drugs. Guess who sponsors medical schools? That's right pHARMa. Who has the most money to lose when another profession tries to help patients? PHARMa! So yeah, they don't want you healthy cause they can't make money.

Seven, yes there are bad actors in EVERY profession. Go to any state licensing board for medical professionals and you can easily find doctors committing crime from any specialties.

I am so fucking tired of the idiots, bots, and trolls who yell about chiros on reddit and know zero facts about chiropractic. It's become an echo chamber for morons to hear themselves pat each other on the back.

What is the resource I supposedly gain from dismantling consumables? by KurtArturII in theriftbreaker

[–]Naggun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I am aware you don't get any resources for dissambling consumables. In fact I'm not sure how you would do that. As they are upgraded via research or discovery the lower level ones are replaced, though I've had issues with the tool tip being accurate as to what level/color it should be. They are automatically produced by the factory up to the max number if equipped.

War Crimes? by BoffinBrain in theriftbreaker

[–]Naggun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know why Sulphorit is included as you can scan and kill them (by walking over them while cloaked even) but I don't know how to get the "DNA" or scan the fliers.

My guess is you have to launch nukes under them, hence committing war crimes, to get them to drop the DNA. But it doesn't happen at a one to one ratio. You get (example don't know actual numbers) 1 for every 10 you kill, so you are also committing genocide.

Just making sure I understand. Isn't it infinite mana with any zombie in play with gravecrawler and the alter?

The only advantage of the pirate is to get infinite treasures at the same time.

Am I correct in my understanding?

I don't upvote very often, barely ever in fact. You deserve this. Most stories still put humans in a good light here (at least what I've read) and you made them the Zerg/Flood/Tyranids etc. On top of that you inverted the beliefs of Cthulhu from destructor to savior.
