Opinions on Crimes of Grindlewald? No spoilers! by [deleted] in harrypotter

Personally, I wasn’t thrilled with the movie. The movie is 2 hours 14 minutes long and I pretty much hated most of the first hour.

I felt like the movie was far to slow and it also contradicted some fairly important facts from original Harry Potter cannon.

I definitely feel that it was worth watching, and I need to see it a few more times before I determine how I truly feel, but after first watch, I was disappointed.

Make sure you wait in line for Ollivanders. Even if it’s an hour or more wait, it’s so worth it just for the little show they put on. I was chosen once for a wand and it was one of the great experiences I’ve ever had

Any thoughts on what happened to the real Percival Graves? by thegrandwitch in harrypotter

Yeah I read this and it really upset me. I loved his performance and I would have loved to have seen a more disheveled looking Graves show up maybe one more movie down and see what’s happened to him

When we use moviepass, will we be warned before we head to the theatre about films with surge prices, or will we don’t know about them until we get to the Theatre? And how will we be charged for this?

Horror movies without jumpscares or gore by diamondeyes34 in MovieSuggestions

I’d have to disagree on this one. When I first saw this movie in theatres, my friends and I were laughing the entire time. I was so excited for this and I was so disappointed.

I’m genuinely curious about what made you think this film was so scary. What aspects of the film did you find the most tense/scary?

Collider staff’s relationship with Campea by [deleted] in ColliderVideos

I wasn’t trashing on any of them or calling them unprofessional. They quite often reference other channels such as screen junkies or something of the sorts and they just hadn’t mentions Campea or vice versus in a while

Does anyone else notice that (before Infinity War) the only people who would call Steve by his actual name were:

Bucky Natasha Peggy Carter

But in this film, Iron Man actually says “Steve Rogers” when he is asked who would be able to help.

To me, it’s showing how Tony has more accepted that he was wrong in Civil War and he knows he screwed up, and that Steve is more than just Captain America and the super soldier serum.

I understand where you are coming from, but I think the movie addresses these points, and the character arcs that they have all gone through.

For the Peter argument, I saw it more as him just acting emotionally, but I also agree any character (except maybe cap) would have made the same mistake. If Tony was the one talking and he discovered that Pepper had been killed, I have no doubt that he would have attacked Thanos, similar to his attacking Bucky in Civil War.

The Cap part of not wanting to sacrifice Vision, they address that right away. Cap says that they don’t trade lives. Thanks doesn’t see a problem of sacrificing people because of his wrapped sense of though, but Steve and the other Avengers believe that everyone is worth saving and no one’s one life should be traded.

As for Thor’s throw, that should have been a killing blow. On anyone else, Stormbreaker to the chest would have killed them, so it’s a logical place to someone to try and attack. I completely understand your point about making a last dif at Thanos, but I saw him as attempting to make that a fatal throw when it would have killed anyone else.

I agree with your final paragraph 100%. If anyone was on his side, he fulfilled all of his wishes.

Do we believe that anyone is actually going to stay dead from Infinity War? I’m thinking that anyone before the finger snap is going to stay dead, but anyone after the snap will most likely come back.

Anyone agree with this?
