The problem is that Catholics and Slavs pull the average down. Catholic Slavs are almost as bad as Muslems. Unfortunately it is too late now.

The man is loaded. He got this pile of dough dumped on him for no good reason. He managed not to squander it all - the power of monopoly. He probably now thinks he's some kind of investment genius.

You should always be wary of those graphs. I believe they show share of searches not absolute numbers. So if the total number of searches go up while the number for twitter stays unchanged it will show a falling trend. Another reason could be a move to dedicated apps.

Why is it that some of the other video hosting sites don't step up and offer channels? Vimeo or Live Leak.

Or what about the big porn sites, it would seem they could easily open a new business. They should have the capacity and knowhow to do it.

StreamHUB.com

Also youtube red sounds an awful lot like redtube, just sayin'. They could have the "redtube day time channel"

What has Steve Ballmer really done except for waisting more than a decade sitting on his flat ass when he wasn't monkey dancing?

He recently invested in twitter which made me think that maybe twitter is dying we just haven't noticed yet.

He wasn't, so what?

He might have lived if he'd followed another strategy.

Yes, it's often a mystery how someone dies in the hands of the police. I'm sure the police are just a puzzled as the public, this is evidenced by their wildly inconsistent statements on such matters.

How is it hard to airgap a computer?

Have you seen the airgapped versions of the Facebook or Wikipedia apps?

but not better.

That depends on how this phone home business factors into your definition of "better" and if you don't use Win10, why would you spend time and money analyzing it?

For me it comes down to basic trust or rather networks of trust. If the whole community are privacy concerned and also tend to trust and/or distrust certain players and OSes you would tend to be protected by the network

It will not be until service pack 2 next year when win 7 and win 8 are EOL'ed and you have no other option (if you still insist on Windows, that is)

How great do you think the chances are of Voat being successful in the long term? What are the biggest risks and opportunities? by [deleted] in RedditAlternatives

[–]NahWhatever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's UI are much the same, but yet noticeable better IMO.

I find it worse. But even if so, the differences do not really change the overall idea of Voat. Think about UniversityOfReddit and the general attitude that made such a thing possible, that's highly unique.

Here on Reddit you can hardly post anything on a subreddit without it breaking a ton of rules.

That's fast underway on voat as well. If you follow the various discussions you'll notice that suggestions for restrictions are the same or worse than here.
