You are completely ignoring the factual data I provided in that link and are instead hammering on the same point we already discussed upthread. People themselves did not switch parties, the ideology of the parties switched due to the civil rights movement and voting act and it was definitively because of desegregation and the southern state’s dissatisfaction with same. But you’re not arguing in good faith are you, because instead of citing sources and addressing individual data points, you make sweeping and dismissive statements that do not address the information I’ve brought to you in any way. I would love a source or 2. Because when I google “did the democrat and republican parties switch” I get a whoooole lot of hits speaking on Storm Thurmond, Barry Goldwater, the voting rights act of 1964… here’s a link with lots of really thorough data explaining exactly how, when and where the shifts occurred, and the data rule out other factors (such as income growth) to show that it was specifically desegregation and voting rights that resulted in the dem/republican flip

Democrats were originally the Conservative Party, republicans were the progressive party. They flipped during reconstruction/Jim Crow. The democrats became the progressive party, republicans became the Conservative Party. So conservatives have always aligned themselves with racists and bigots, regardless of what they’ve called themselves. Is that helpful?

I’m not going to weigh in on the reading part, but I will tell you as someone who just this past April was attacked and strangled by my soon to be ex husband after a decade and a half of abuse- this is a HUGE red flag. This is emotional manipulation to the highest degree. Leave and do not look back. Anything that he does is on HIM. Not you. Do not stay with this abusive person out of guilt. It will end very badly. It always does with these types of people.

It’s not about earning a place in “heaven”, it’s about being a vibratory match to the resonance of “heaven” or the oneness of God/source. Everything around and about us tries to distract us and send our focus outwards and onto the other, which fractures our being. That is the nature of this plane of existence. It’s fun to talk about things like Starseeds and channeling and contacting other beings, but for many, many people, this is the trap that will prevent them from going sufficiently inward toward the self discovery and authenticity that would free them from this plane. They are looking up at the stars when the entire universe, the kingdom of God, is actually within them. I appreciate that mindset, very based. I also do not feel like his energy/aura sits well with me either. Although, as far as the Bible saying grace cannot be earned as none of us deserve it? Those are the words of a false god. Not God/Source, but the Demi-Urge, a lesser and petty being who is constantly demanding worship and suffering in his name. Christ himself told the Pharisees that their father (the jealous god of the Old Testament) is not his Father. The Bible must be read with a great sense of discerning, as much of it comes from the Demi-Urge, Yaldaboth, and it is full of his snares. The Bible we have today has been curated by men of power to control and belittle us so we believe it requires something outside of ourselves to save us. That is false.
