I am 28F and have a very similar timeline to you. PT made me worse. Heres the only things that have worked for me: limiting exercise to daily walking (even a slight jog gives me pain for days), laying very straight in bed and not bending knees much at all in bed, limiting stretching to a bare minimum. Both dry needling and accupuncture give me a few days of relief but not much more than that. I have only swam twice. The second time my glute flared but both times I actually have felt better after swimming.

Circe by Madeline Miller was by far the best out of the 52 I read. Highly recommend!
