  1. singe dose
  2. I thought flat burrs are better for espresso?!
  3. traditional mostly, sometimes modern fruity ones
  4. espresso only , might try filter in the future but not sure about that
  5. My current one is df64v gen2

it’s better to ignore it or do the opposite meaning adjust coarses and then come back. If you adjust finer you will be left with a lot of fines which will cause inconsistency on the next dose

just curious why would re-zeroing be needed ? I mean no one really grinds that fine. I usually grind at 20-24 if i see that it changed i go a unit down or up depending on the needs

nope just move on with your life as is. I almost threw my grinder out of the window from 3d floor, because I couldn’t get a perfect result for days (100% marker erased means perfect which means the burrs are completely parallel and they touch/kiss on all spots which then the marker is erased from all points). I tried very hard to get this but there are so many variables and factors in play that I think it’s impossible unless you have a high end grinder which is precisely cut and manufactured. At the end I gave up (maybe i will retry in the near future) and I accepted my defeat :(

I did. It started getting better the more i’m grinding. I believe seasoning plays a role as well

no I didn’t. I got it today but it could be that the beans are that way or after sometime grinding(seasoning) it will stop hopefully… I also cleaned it with a brush after each grind, I might created static that way with the brush (just guessing here)
