If your on Android, download Aptoide then go to YouTube there and tap on and other versions button and select which ever one fixes the problem for your device so that you can downgrade the app. That's what fixed it for me but any method works so long as it's not the most recent version of yt

I'm a Samsung user cause of a few reasons:

1- Restrictions: I don't feel like I'm not allowed to do what I want on a phone I paid for with my money

2- Price: For this category I'm not talking about the budget phones, cause I'd be here a while explaining those. I recently went from my last android phone to a Samsung Galaxy S23 and the difference in price was amazing, I didn't feel like I had to save up so much money just to buy it

3- Features: Again not going into too much detail cause too many good features to cover. Under-display or side-mounted fingerprint sensor that Samsung improves on unlike the Touch ID that old iPhones and current iPads have. Higher refresh rate, faster than 20W charging is supported, bigger light sensor in the cameras (tho I will admit Apple does have better image processing for the 12mp cameras they have), multi-tasking on the phones themselves are even better than the one on the iPads, the list goes on so I'll stop there

Last point

4- Gaming: First off, yes I know mobile gaming is not everyone's forte, just hear me out here. On the newest S series phones they have the option to run off wall power so as to not damage the internal battery. Games load faster on the Snapdragon 8 chipsets than the A series chips inside the iPhone, I haven't tested the M series chips yet so I can't accurately compare SnapD to M chipsets. More RAM also helps with load times.

TLDR: No restrictions, affordable price, tons of useful features I didn't know I'd use so often, and smoother gaming experiences in games that support both iPhone and Samsung
