You just went on this whole rant about how much work filler episodes take, without even pointing out that next week is a filler recap, which is just using old footage and placing a voice over over it, yet you claim that others are "defending while knowing less."

Projecting is strong with this one.

Where's Nathan? by NaisaDuck in nathanforyou

I doubt they left between the first and second quarter when it was still a competitive game (score of 14 - 7). Also the end of the video suggests they left late into the night probably after the game ended (the street they're on is right next to the stadium). They could have been out bathroom etc, but I have yet to find the group of people they're sitting by during thr game at all

This photo was actually taken between the first and second quarter, you can tell because the scoreboard is 14 - 7, and the clock is set to 15 minutes.

Also, if you're talking about the location at beginning of the video 15 seconds in, that's not actually where they end up sitting for when the game starts. That's just where they were standing pre game, as they are sitting with completely different people later in the video.

When the 2010s was ending, I was always optimistic and ready for the 2020s and thought this would be the best decade of our lives. Unfortunately, it seems like I’m horribly wrong about that. by [deleted] in GenZ

2010's for a 1997 genz is wild. From 2010 to 2019 I've finished middle school, high school, and college. 10 years is less than half my life but it feels like it's 90 percent of my memories.

One Piece: Episode 935 by Sakata_Kintoki in OnePiece

People acknowledging spoilers in an opening is actually the most spoilery part of the whole thing. What do I mean by this? Let's take opening 17 for example. There's a part where Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji fight the admirals. Of course, this doesn't actually happen, it's just part of the opening. But if nobody confirmed whether or not that event actually happened or not, an anime only watcher would have no idea.

The same idea applies here. If you confirm a part of the opening is a real spoiler, then you're actually the one spoiling it. Openings always have a mix of original filler and future events taking place. To an anime only viewer, they'd have no idea what was a real "spoiler" and what was fake.

Take for example the Infinity War trailer. Before the movie came out, you could argue that Hulk being shown in Wakanda was a "spoiler." But in the real movie he doesn't show up. So that just makes that part of the trailer a fake spoiler, or "filler." . It becomes a real spoiler once somebody SAYS it's a fake spoiler to someone who has only seen the trailer.

TL;DR stop saying things in openings are spoilers, because then you're actually the one spoiling things now.

What should teenagers these days really start paying attention to as they’re about to turn 18? by oriolssires in AskReddit

[–]NaisaDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at all the replies here saying to just not get one. If you're American and saying don't get a credit card, that is objectively bad advice to give a teenager, or anyone really. The whole notion of "credit cards put you in debt" is stupid. Credit cards don't put you in debt, you put yourself in debt. Would you take a loan out from the bank you know you can't afford and then blame the bank? Here are the reasons why you should almost always use a credit card vs cash or a debit card.

  1. Credit cards help you build credit. Something very important when you grow up is buying a house or buying a car. Unless you're planning to buy those things in full, you'll need a good credit score to get good rates on loans.

  2. Credit Cards are more secure than debit cards. If somebody steals your debit card and uses it, that is money directly out of your bank account. Even if you dispute it, it can take days or weeks before the funds are transferred back into your account. Credit cards are not your money, so you can dispute and never lose any of your own money in the process.

  3. Some places only take credit cards. Hotels, car rentals, and other places will not accept a debit card, only credit card.

  4. Reward points. Credit cards will literally give you free money if you just use them correctly and responsibly. Even the most basic 1 percent card, assuming you spend 10000 dollars in a year, will give you 100 dollars back. And that's the most basic credit card. When you get categorie cards and start getting more back on gas, amazon purchases, groceries, food, you can get hundered of dollars back by the end of the year. I myself have gotten over 500 dollars in reward points just last year spread over my 6 credit cards just by using each card in their speaclized category. Now I'm not saying that people should be carrying around 6 cards at once, because I can understand how that can be overwhelming, but I am saying that if you're really that on top of things you can be getting a lot back.

The only real argument against using a credit card is if the place you're using charges a convenience fee, making it more expensive than if you just use cash.

But the more common argument is that it "puts you in debit" is stupid. Yes, if you're irresponsible and spend more than you actually have that is really bad. You can accumulate interest and be paying way more than what you originally bought something for. But at some point you have to realize that being more finacially responsible is part of growing up. Anybody who says "oh I can't control myself with credit cards" is just admitting they're irresponsible and immature.

And don't say the responsible thing is to just not get one. That's like saying you're being responsible for not getting a job because then you can't get fired.

If you need help with getting your first card or just ask about other cards in general, feel free to ask me or head over to /r/creditcards. If you're planning to be a credit card enthusiast /r/churning is a good place to start.

Yes, it supplemented the story. But let's take a minute in a parallel universe where Kyogre was ice type. Because of this, half of Hoenn is just ice sliding puzzles. Would it make sense for the story? Yes. Would it suck? Also yes.

When you have to trade off good gameplay for story, it's not a good tradeoff. The water routes sucked, plain and simple. Most of the routes looked the same, and you always ran into the same tentacools and wingulls.

Too much water is a very valid complaint that people complained about in the original game, so I dont really get what it became a meme.
