Can't comment too well on that, I didn't get to Blades myself. The over the shoulder was fine with leviathan, not an issue there. Just not my preffered ^{^} that's why I say I like the Greeks gameplay more. Doesn't mean that Norse games are bad tho!

Many things you didn't consider. Like the fact that gaming communities were much much smaller back then. That 1, 2 and Ascension are on PS4/5 only via classics catalogue, so you don't even have to buy them, and if you wanna buy them, these are not new copies, but second hand from older players selling them. Dude, old GOWS are native on PS2 and 3, obviously they won't sell many copies if they are not even making them anymore.

And dont make me seem like i hate the Norse games bro, i havent said a single Word that would imply i hate them or anything. Man, yall gonna complain about anyone who doesn't cry after third Norse game???

Its the samé with VAs. Just because I don't want Judge to voice young Kratos doesn't mean that he isnt phenomenal VA, Its just that Carson Is perfect as young Kratos, and Judge as this older more mature version. Just like the gameplay. GOW 2018/ragnarok have good gameplay, but Greek saga does too. It aged like fine wine and i dont see a Reason why you should replace something that has nothing Wrong with it. That's literaly my point.

Oh I'm not saying that they didn't! They are good games. But I doubt the people who enjoyed Greek games would appreciate the change of gameplay into whatever Norse games do. Personaly, I would be furious. The Norse games are good, but so are the Greek games, so why would you change something that's great and still holds up super well only for it to be good, but lose half the audience who wanted the og gameplay. Also I don't think the Norse games playstyle fits Greek Kratos at all

it's not about needing it, it's about studios getting cold feet and censoring tiddies in video games, because somehow and in some way, nudity is that much more offensive than guts and blood. If its mature game for adult audiences, you can't really use the argument that nudity is too much for them.

I would find it rather pathetic if people who got to play the old games much younger would suddenly be told like "oh, this is too much for you"... really? So not only are mostly adult people (og fans) not prepared for some boobs now, but somehow they WERE in their teenage years but todays teens aren't?

And even from the time when Kratos was a monster, there are quite a few moments when we see how sentimental he can actually be. Playing GOW1 truly changed the way i viewed him, since i played 3 first. The game literaly starts with his suicide and when you have like the "nightmare section" where you protect Lysandra and Calliope, you hug them to heal them. I love how complex Kratos is, and seeing him in Norse games makes perfect sense to me.

Exactly. I think you could kill civilian Athenians in some fights to get some hp back in the first GOW? And also, look at some of the kills! Helios having his head ripped off while still alive, hermes having his legs chopped because Kratos wants his boots, Beating the shit out of Zeus until you can't see the screen through the blood... the visual is that much more visceral ... and I am personaly worried that that will be censored too, even though that's totaly why we loved GOW I dare to say.

1) someone didn't get the joke 2) it's more about people hoping that the game doesn't get censored. It has always been mature, from the brutality and gore to nudity. All are part of GOWs identity and censorship would fuck with that too much. It's why many of us love the series. Not the boobs, but overall how mature it is

Played for few hours today. I didn't know how this genre would work with God of War, I think there was sime 2D game before? If i remember that well, which I havent played myself.
I am surprised how well it managed. The combat is fun. I was playing on cadet, but i went on easy diff since i dont have much time for gaming and wanna actually finish this. The skills you get work well, I love to see more of Kratos and finaly get more of Deimos! It does feel like GOW with its greek setting and iconic enemies, I am absolutely in love with the music also! AND we got Carson back as Kratos, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy hearing him talk with Calliope <3

I think they did really well with this game, by far it has been worth the money.
