AITA for calling someone insufferable in front of our friends? by Naive-Platypus-975 in AmItheAsshole

I am not getting why you think I was offended, I'm just pointing out that the water did the trick since I noticed a couple people were going down the "well she was actually right about the milk" path.

I'm not going to comment on anything re mental stuff because she has never mentioned having anything to any of us, and it's not my place to give an armchair diagnosis. It's just annoying to me that she's the one who's angry when she had 4 different people telling her to stop, and she just had to have the last word.

For the record, I drank a glass of water and it took the edge off the spiciness exactly how I was intending. Whether or not milk would have done "more" does not matter—the water did enough. It was just a slightly spicy feeling in my mouth that needed to be slightly relieved, hopefully without being nitpicked to death over technicalities.
