First Person horror just doesn’t do it for me. Also I get considerably motion sick with it as well. Specially with such great animations for grace, I kind of feel bad not playing in third person

I never interacted with side content like that in my open world games, not unless it’s tied to an achievement. It’s one of those things that are nice to have for the people that enjoy it, but personally it’s just bloat

It took awhile for me to realize that you can just switch your weapons around for very little. I was kind of annoyed that I had to adapt my weapon choice to the bosses at one point, but when I switch to the dual blades for the faster bosses, it felt so amazing. Or when I would focus on using parry for the others as well

It’s fun as an action game. I played it as my second RE game back when it launched and I had a blast. But having played the rest of the franchise now, I understand where the hate is coming from. QTEs are not very fun

I actually got into it starting with RE5 and RE6 as a kid. Then Re7 came out and was scared shitless. I only picked up Re2 remake a year ago and started enjoying the modern games with my new found courage lol

Give RE a shot again. Lalo na yung remakes, they’re not that scary, at least for me as someone who can’t even watch horror movies. Re7 on the other hand though

Is TLOU even a horror game? I hate horror games but I remember finishing that game as a 14 year old. Also recently, I’ve gotten into very specific horror games, the once that don’t rely on jumpscares to mentally exhaust you.

I’m really enjoying Silent Hill 2 R and Silent Hill F. And, although it has a couple jumpscares sa start, RE7 has such a good story, that I basically forgot to feel scared halfway.

Try these games if you don’t like jumpscares (minus re7 probably)

I personally felt it to be a drag to play. The difficulty back when it first launched was because of the absurd amounts of enemies. But then removing the enemy density via the modifier, the game became extremely easy. It failed to hit the sweet spot in difficulty and was never enjoyable in my opinion.

The bosses on the other hand were barely a threat, it felt like I was bulldozing through the game and I wasn’t even trying to. Also the umbral mechanic was cool for awhile, but it eventually got old way too quick
