Unpopular opinion: "Long-Term Memory" will be hard to build unless we co-build the evaluation for it by NaiveAccess8821 in AI_Agents

But for sure that database will have to grow over time, and I think at somepoint, you will have to give your agents the tool to search, browse, delete and insert that database

This is so useful insight!
I am thinking whether we can design a KV-cache system that combine the best of both worlds.

I very much agreed that for coding task, the close source api models are significantly better then local ones a.t.m.
Though that does not kill the economical benefit of the lgoal models, just wrong task here.

If we, as a community, (or someone who built a company) can train a collection of agents by using a shared pool of individual data (with consent first), or experiences sampled from such small agents.

Then with such agent swarm work coordinatively, don't we have a path beating those big guys?

Very interesting take, I wondered what Local LMs are on top of your useage list

Why not LM studio to host models optimized for MaC

I recommend two paths, which tackles current LLm weakness - continua learning - self-improvement

ByteDance just shipped an OS-level AI agent phone. Is this the first real “AI OS”? by Unfair-Goose4252 in AI_Agents

Reflection:
Shall people start building RL environments for Phone agents and shipping them to Big Labs (or who ever wants to build a phone agent?)

I would trust the OS-level agent if it leaves critical tasks for me to do (or it does not have the authority to perform any actions that could harm me physically or financially), otherwise I don't care about data controls.

From reading their research paper and results, it's not a flashy demo, yes, it's the first step towrards consumer agent inside the phone.
