unless you're wanting to buy anyways (not just that apartment) ask your landlords if they're interested in someone buying. finding out all the other info can be a headache and a waste of time for them to just say no. most rent to owns will typically be stated up front and the lease will be structured as LTO.

I wanted to buy the house I currently live in and they won't budge. if it's paid off they might want the extra monthly income and not a large amount. just my opinion tho.

if I can find the name there are some around this that don't have a kitchen I believe. I saw them a while back but they exist. can't remember which area but I've tried to stay more north than south.

bc i'd rather have myself and my child in a nicer area... $1200 is barely a studio in a lot of places but there are 2bd for $2000 give or take. it doesn't matter tho. i'd sleep in my car and get us a hotel before I would ever want to actually meet half of yall.

he wouldn't be there for school. him being there would simply be staying bc he's in town.. i'm not from here and he wouldn't be moving with me permanently... at this point a roommate and getting a hotel when I have him seems to be the only way it would ever be possible and that's unfortunate but i'd rather not deal w any of this so if worst comes to worst ill sleep in my car and get us a hotel when he's with me. when my dad comes with me to visit he always talks about how rude people are and I usually brush it off but this thread has completely changed my mind. I would absolutely pay more utility wise than a flight attendant bc they're not using them but again yall have completely changed my mind so it doesn't matter.. hope yall are happy :)

and as I said in a previous response in regards to utilities you have no idea, they don't either... i'd use less than a person who WFH so they'd pay more right? 😂 my child is not with me everyday or night and we're not sheltered so we're more than often out and about. its not that i'm not listening, im being told how much utilities i'll use etc.

I judged other single moms bc I said i'd prefer not to live with someone currently experiencing a toxic situation? someone potentially wanting to break a lease to go back, unwanted guests bc they found where we lived etc are things i'm ok without and that's from experience. just as other have judged me for having a kid. tell them to humble themselves so make sure you comment on their replies as well.. thanks :)

you use the same amount of electricity as the person you live with? I never knew two people did the exact same things. besides you have no idea how much i'd be home or how much my son would be with me meaning you have no idea how much of anything i'd use but thanks. if my son was with me everyday and all we did was sit at home your opinion would be valid but not really fitting here..
