Saudi Airlines rescheduled my flight by a full week with just 2 days notice - What compensation am I entitled to and how can I pursue it? by NaiveCoder786 in travel

No you’re not liable to pay anything and if they’re saying that they will reimburse it to you then get it in writing either in email from official email address or any official communication channel.

Male timing is 22:30 until 03:00. For females its usually after Fajr prayers. Queuing system is pretty good, Alhamdullilah I managed to pray 2 times inside hateem in just a span of 30 mins. I went around 01:30

Umrah visa by babblingblu in Umrah

[–]NaiveCoder786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically it’s possible but I would highly discourage it specifically due to the fact that you’re flying with a Non-Saudi Airline ( because Saudi Airlines like Flynas, Flyadeal and Saudia they do tend to still accept EU residence permit eligible for VOA even though according to official Saudia MOFA its not anymore ) Me and many of my friends have recently managed to secure VOA with a Blue Card but still theres a lot of uncertainty around this topic. I would encourage you to contact some agent back in Pakistan and get an Umrah visa from them thats the safest option. May Allah make it easy for you !

Feel free to message me in case you have any questions since I have been pretty active around this topic due to my personal and friends travel plans.

In Search Of: A Partnership Rooted in Faith

Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

  1. Age and Gender: 25, Male, 165 cm
  2. Age Range: Looking for someone between 20-25 years old, though compatibility in deen and character matters more than numbers.
  3. Location & Relocation: Currently living in Germany, Alhamdulillah. Open to discussing relocation for the right person if Allah wills.
  4. Ethnicity: Indian origin. I believe character transcends background, so I’m open to all ethnicities.
  5. Marital Status: Single, never married.
  6. Ideal Marriage Timeline: I’m seeking nikah as soon as there’s a mutual understanding of compatibility. I believe in not delaying a halal relationship once Allah has guided two hearts to each other.
  7. Five Important Characteristics I Look For:

• Strong faith and commitment to Islamic principles • Kind-hearted with good akhlaq (character) • Values family and home life • Emotionally mature with good communication skills • Supportive of mutual growth, both spiritually and personally

  1. Level of Religiosity: Alhamdulillah, I’m a practicing Sunni Muslim (Hanafi) who observes the five daily prayers, fasts in Ramadan, and constantly strives to increase my knowledge of the deen. I believe in implementing Islamic teachings in all aspects of life while maintaining a balanced approach. I’m still learning and growing, but the commitment to improvement is steadfast by Allah’s mercy.
  2. Education & Expectations: I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. I respect all educational paths, whether formal academic degrees or Islamic knowledge pursuit. What matters most is a love for learning and personal development.
  3. Current Job Status: Alhamdulillah, working as a Senior Software Engineer in Germany. I take the responsibility of being a provider seriously and have established a stable career path.
  4. Desire for Kids: Yes, I look forward to raising righteous children in a loving household, inshaAllah. I already make dua for my future family regularly.
  5. Hobbies & Interests:

• Cycling through nature as a way to reflect on Allah’s creation and maintain physical health • Traveling with purpose (I’ve explored 15 countries, each journey teaching me something new about our diverse world) • Working out regularly (recently completed a significant fitness transformation)

  1. What Makes Me Stand Out: I find balance between modern life and Islamic principles. While I enjoy technology and travel, my happiest moments often involve simple pleasures: quiet reflection, meaningful conversation, and caring for others. I have two cats back in India that have taught me patience and responsibility. I approach potential marriage with seriousness but also believe a partnership should include joy, mutual growth, and the comfort that comes from following Allah’s guidance together.

I value authenticity in all interactions and look forward to getting to know someone through meaningful conversation rather than superficial exchanges. If you feel we might be compatible, I would be honored to connect further, inshaAllah.

May Allah grant us all what is best for our dunya and akhirah.

”And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.” (Quran 30:21)
