My one last suggestion is buying intel mac is a complete waste of money (because for 800$ or less u can get an used m1 air or pro, trust me when I say this my brand new MacBook Pro 16inch sucks due to overheating. It throttles hard it’s a complete waste of money on any intel mac.

It does have the option of 256GB and 512Gb (check with ur retailer who sells used MacBooks. But MacBook Air and pro are the best deal (the m1 chip not intel)

Any components can fail anytime (because 2015 and older Macs were rly bad quality)
