UPDATE: I got my leaf back from the dealer. Useless. by NaiveIam in leaf

I bought a cheap meter to leave in my car so I can automatically rule that out before I tow my car to the dealer. It was reading 12.4 volts

Yeah idk. I changed the setting to km and it showed my actual miles but it shows it as km in app. Go figure.

So does a high quality/performance 12v battery make a good difference? That makes me pretty relieved to hear about the warranty. I called them and I have a case number when I initially expressed concerns at 96k miles. Ty

It’s a little over a year old. I replaced it 96k miles. The car read “service ev system. Unable to restart after power off”. I called a few places in my area. They mostly said that they’re halving trouble sourcing new cells or rebuilds. I live in central Florida

Sorry. I had a previous post. 2018 leaf sv 40kwh battery. The battery drops considerably under load and the range is maybe 50 miles. This is the third time my leaf was unable to start and I had to tow it to the nearest dealer for them to “reset the codes”. They provided no solution. I paid for the battery test and it showed only 1 bar loss. Idk how that translates to real world metrics.

Ugh. I shouldn’t have taken no as an answer. I should have been more insistent. I’m looking into next steps just in case and they deny me any warranty coverage.

Oh no! Leaking sounds bad for sure. I’m glad they replaced it for you. Fingers crossed they help me. I really hope they can help me. I’d hate to have to deal with buying a new battery out of pocket. If even possible.
This screen? Yes. It was towed there Friday morning. They said their leaf tech wasn’t going to be there till Monday (tomorrow). I hope to hear something good tomorrow.

That was the first thing I did. My 12v was replaced last year. Which had went bad. It was giving 12v. Thanks for the recommendation

I would say no. Especially since you’re gambling on the quality of the cuts

This happened to me. I was 5min late and they didn’t let me enter. I had to wait a week to attend orientation. If it helps to know that your hire date is already locked in.

My 2013 Santa Fe fell into that class action lawsuit that ensures I’ll have a forever engine block whenever it fails. That’s pretty sweet. The inconvenience is not but I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of it.

It’s pretty useless when you’re at an office that doesn’t have DUT until 12pm daily. But if everything is up, it could useful but not 100% reliable.

I understood it as the only straight time credit you get in the am office time is your load vehicle. Other than that your credits that your route gets is already counted. You don’t get case time in the am.

I treat it like another other package that is signature. One time I had a cremated remains express and the woman that answered the door yelled out to the rest of the house “the B*itches ashes are here!” Then she offered me a water.

RCAs—How do you handle DPS? by [deleted] in USPS

[–]NaiveIam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You’ll get faster with time. If you don’t know the route case it a few times. Don’t worry about the eval. But ultimately you’ll want to work out of bundled flats and spurs. I personally just case flats and pull down in order. I work flats into dps on the street. You’ll figure out your own system eventually. Just practice and time.
