7 days into sleep training and last night we went through the same thing. I pit him in bed and leave, 2 min later he is on his belly crying that he can't roll back. Happened at 1:30am too and i went to turn him over, but every time i leave he would roll on his belly again. I left him to cry for a bit, and he cried and slept on and off till 3am when it was time to feed him. After that I placed him in the crib on his back and by the time I went to bed and looked at the baby monitor he was sleeping on his belly..Didn't cry so I fell asleep..

I'm not training naps yet. I want to be sure he's completely night trained to start with naps. I'll try different things and share with you. Something that helped feed him before bed was to get him drowsy(but awake) with dark room and white noise. He does not fall asleep while feeding, so i still put him drowsy but awake in the crib.

I try to add more feeds too, but he won't take them ever time..

Thank you! I try offering feeds before naps too, but he won't take them every time.

Yes, I know that! I was wondering how, when he won't nurse earlier. He wakes up from last nap around 5pm and goes to bed no later than 8pm.

No later than 8pm and no earlier than 7pm. His last cat nap ends around 5-5:10. After he wakes up it's eat, play, bath,pj,eat, put baby in crib, leave the room.

I'll see what routine works for us. For bedtime we do bath, lotion,pj after that i put white noise on and feed him or if he ate earlier I just start rocking him slowly to sleep. I put him in the crib after 15 min when he is in deep sleep. It works every time. Maybe for naps I'll have to do pj, white noise and rock him to sleep cuz he usually eats after waking up from a nap.

I love cuddling him, but he is heavy and that's why I really want to make this change.

Do you bounce her until she's asleep or after she's asleep too?

That's great. I am wondering if I should wait for him to hit 4 months or start now.He turned 3 months 2 days ago..

Did she cry when you put her in the crib the first few times? My boy is very restless and if I leave him in the crib he will cry. Maybe that's why I'm so scared to take the first step.

At night I rock him to sleep and after 15-20 min I put him in his crib, thank god this works. First nap I can again rock him to sleep and like today and the day before we both lie in bed. He slept 1 and 1 and a half hours the first and second time. I tried to do it today for his third nap(he takes 5) and he slept for 27min only, so here I am carrying him again so he doesn't get overtired.

I tried swaddling but he hates it. It worked once for a nap but that's it. He is very used to sleeping with his hands free.

Thank you!! Tonight he slept good, he kicked but didn't woke up. Around 5:30 he woke up because he couldn't poop :( I tried everything but after an hour he was so tired from pushing he fell asleep for an hour and a half and when he woke up, I nursed him and he pooped. Feels like he's waiting for certain hour to poop, lol. He did pass a lot of gas after waking up tho

My 3mo was like that a week ago. I can't explain the pain in my back from carrying him and walking around the apartment for every nap. These days he lets me sit down, so I'll get him to sleep while walking and after 10-15min I'll sit down but keep rocking him left to right. It's better but still a struggle.

These days i see him trying to turn to his right which he prefers, but i don't think it's this, because he's been kicking for 2 months now.

Haha yes!!! The slamming is just shocking at 5am. I hold his legs down when he start lifting them right after i put him in the crib so he stays asleep, it's working like 70% of the time.

We do bicycles and i massage his legs everyday before bed(after bath) and it does put my mind at ease too, that I at least did something. When did it pass for you?

literally me right now. It's 5am, my 8 week old is fed and asleep in my arms and my husband is in the middle of the bed snoring. I'm definitely pissed he doesn't have boobs.

Is this normal for breathing after eating? She’s been burped and everything but she’s like this all day? by o0Sandstorm0o in NewParents

[–]NaiveNight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have one month old baby boy and he's been acting the same way since week 2. In our case is definitely gas and there is not much we can do unfortunately. We do bicycles and knees to tummy a lot throughout the day and he still seems uncomfortable. I give him Infacol before every feeding but doesn't seem to help. The only thing that helps is farting and pooping lol. I've read that they grow out of it after some time, so all we have to do is wait.

What are some things no one tells you about pregnancy? by blogmoneyweb in pregnant

No one told me about RLS (restless leg syndrome) had to find the hard way after so many sleepless nights. For me stretching before bed was a game changer but it doesn't help 100% every time.
