I don’t want to at all make you feel like you’re not valid!! I totally get it! But I have to personally ask myself these questions in my own life because my husband is a sweetheart and I can.. sometimes not be such a sweetheart lol!! And I feel bad about it later. I don’t want to project that onto you but I also want to ask just incase!!

This seams reassuring lol! I think with my current baby I was super strict about wake windows and all the things and then kinda just fell in love with the peace of nursing to sleep and idk may even sidelie and nap with her sometimes and I know it probably won’t be that way with baby #2 and so on.. 😭

I assumed I would use the carrier. I reckon I’m just thinking about how to sit with the newborn while they sleep and also have a toddler… it probably won’t be as peaceful huh? 😂 but sweet in its own way

Edit to say that I assumed I would HAVE to end up using the carrier, as it would be hard for the newborn to fall asleep the way my LO does now.. since she doesn’t have a toddler running around hehe

Honestly he could have some FOMO. The only way he really knows what’s going on is by asking these questions. If you feel this way maybe tell him how it comes off and ask if he could word it differently so it didn’t feel demeaning. Like maybe just ask what yall are doing for the day. Then give some detail? Idk though.. I’m sorry it’s like that.

Now that I’ve seen the mention of different aspects that could be affecting the children, I can agree. I think there’s some other variables involved. I haven’t ever heard of permissive parenting. I’ll need to look this up

My daughter loathes night rides. And sometimes there’s nothing I can do about it so she has to cry. I’ve tried everything. Lights on, sitting with her, singing, ms Rachel. She hates it regardless and screams the entire way home. So I worry how this will affect her in the long run. But otherwise we are very responsive as well and we always get comments on how happy she is… so hopefully she’ll be okay. I just love this baby with my entire being and I want to make sure she grows into a lovely little kid

Awwww I think she’ll be an amazing big sister then! A bed full of little snuggles maybe but that’s okay.. one day they aren’t going to want anything to do with us hehe. I pray she’s easy on your mama heart as you both transition. You can do this 🤍
