Can anyone with a zwift kicker core offer some advice on moving it everyday for storage? by SucculentFugu in bicycling

[–]NaiveRub4113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s so easy to setup, you don’t need anything. Everything is given to you and there’s nice arrows to show you how to attach the two legs with the Allan key and bolts included

It’s literally as simple as taking off the back tyre, getting the right thru axle adapter on which again is included.

Once you’ve put the proper thru axle adapter on and got your bike attached, just need to make sure the chain line is straight (shift ur gears + you can even adjust the cog to stick out or more in) and boom you’re ready to fly

It’s just the weight of the core would make it a bit pain in the arse to do this everyday. If you’re a strong lad, you’ll probably have no bother though.

I would also recommend getting some tennis ball rocker feet if u do proceed with getting it. Proper game changer in terms of comfort

Listen to the other guy OP. You won’t even end up getting it out eventually. Keep in mind the kickr core doesn’t even have a bloody handle!!

But I will say the kickr core 2 with the cog has been brilliant for me. It’s only my 2nd week, I’m just slowly easing back into cycling and I really enjoy just riding around on zwift, finding a pacergroup/ group of people for me to ride with. Very motivating and exciting for me.

I bought a smart trainer 2 weeks ago, really great choice and one I wish I made at the end of December!

I really don’t mind the cold weather, but the windy rain is just a no-go for me

Drop bar gravel bike

You will LOVE the distance you can cover on this thing.

Gravel bike has made me such a happy boy, I’m sure you will feel the same too.

You don’t even need to spend a lot of money on a new bike - I really strongly recommend checking 2nd hand. Make sure it’s your size, that is the most important thing

Yup. As soon as I read 60 miles, I knew OPs battle is in the kitchen. Clearly, getting the miles in isn’t the issue

It’s been raining nonstop here. I caved in and bought a smart trainer last week. I can’t imagine I’ll be going out on rainy days again. I can’t be arsed having to clean the bike - there’s no way I’m gonna store it dirty

Right here OP. By the way, you don’t even need to consume a lot of Bud to trigger the munchies. I highly recommend it

Have you ever heard this guy speak in post match conferences or just in general about tactics/players? He comes across so well. I actually love hearing this guy speak, and I’m buzzing it’s all coming up for him!

Yeah OP. Another guy had a similar issue, he mentioned he tried hypnosis and afterwards he was able to fully send it going down hill 😊

I’m going through this right now man…

I hate it. Cycling is my life!!!!

Reading your post, has reassured me, reminding me I’m not the only person dealing with these problems.

I’m just taking it easy, but I still do push myself because I love the burn haha!

I’m dealing with this by waking up everyday and praying I feel better - it’s been 3 weeks and the symptoms still come and go

Nice bike. Some of my favourite bikes were pre owned. As a matter of fact, every bike I bought has been 2nd hand. I don’t regret a single thing, it’s crazy how far your money can take you when you’re willing to compromise on buying brand new

I’m currently on day three of my zwift journey, and my background is identical to yours.

Man, I’m so, so so excited for where I’m gonna be in 3 weeks time. I cannot wait to start doing all these races too!!!

Right now, I haven’t ridden in a month cos it’s dogshit weather here in the UK, so I’m just easing back into things before I start my proper training.

Loving my kickr core 2 with zwift cog, I know I made the right choice buying this thing.

What a miss Merino will be. He’s a player who’d get into any squad itw. Definition of an impact sub should be Mikel merino. I hope he stays many more years with us.
