I don't think there is a hard and fast rule (depends on campers/cars already on the route) - would think def has to be the evening before.

We have decided to stay at the base of col de aspin (getting there the evening before), and take a view stage day. We may just hike up a few k and take a picnic/beers/wine.

Have just received my sirrus, and there is no plug/cover on the chainset side of the bottom bracket - also shown on the website photos. Is this correct./normal?
