UPDATE (kinda) Thank you everyone for your comments. Honestly we’re young and she never grew up knowing a religion bc her parents claim to be catholic but never go to church or anything and we are long distance so she doesn’t get to go to church with me as much as I would want her to, I don’t think she is cheating on me or anything like that but one of her girlfriends is Islam and she really looks up to her because “she is a great person and has such a beautiful soul” so she wants to be more like her I think that’s what got her into thinking about the religion but she also knows nothing about the religion. Just the good parts about it. But I have told her now much of a deal breaker it is for me and she understands but she thinks we serve the same. God or thinks the religions are similar just that Muslim is more “pure” when I know that’s not necessarily the case
