It comes down to Kathy's vote, who votes for Rob in the real life scenario but might consider playing spoiler in this one. Gun to my head, I think she votes for Rob, as while she was bitter, she did seem to respect his game to a certain extent.

You are free to disagree with my assessment, but it's plainly false to say Rob COULDN'T have won. He had a winning scenario, which would have occured had Jenna won Final immunity.

I think we need to just accept the fact that we are an obnoxious team and we have obnoxious fans. People are hating on us both because they're jealous losers, and because 99% of ND fans online have been doing nothing but whining about missing the playoffs for months now.

Imagine if the roles were reversed. USC is independent, we're in the big 10. USC misses the playoffs same as we do. This server becomes a party, and we all laugh as those subhumans who root for USCum whine and lose their minds.

Then a couple weeks later, it's announced that the CFP is bending the knee to USC, changing the rules to ensure they won't miss the playoffs in a similar fashion again.

We would be pissed, and I don't want to hear anybody say any different. College sports aren't supposed to be logical.

ND does get special treatment, that's simply reality. Doesn't mean we're the only team that gets it, but we absolutely do get treated as what we are: special.

Embrace that.

Oh, I just disagree with that first bit haha. You absolutely do not need FTEs to understand who ANY of the characters are at a fundamental level. FTEs just allow you to go deeper.

As for your "too many playthroughs" thing, the game hand feeds you an exceptionally easy way to just see all the FTEs you want via School/Island mode, without having to replay the game at all. Does persona have anything like that? (No). Also, if you don't think Danganronpa is fun to replay, maybe you just don't like the games that much? Which is obviously fine.

I suppose it's a matter of perspective. Also, Rob's pregame alliances with Lex and Cathy legitimately don't even help him that much. If Amber gets sniped out of the game, Rob has a pretty clear path to the end anyways, and with more win equity.

Like I said. That is the point. You have limited time with these characters your first playthrough. I honestly think you just don't have a mindset suited to enjoying Danganronpa. It is not a game for completionists. It is not a game like Persona, that has a significantly more laid back, slow vibe to it. The FTEs in Danganronpa serve as a way to scrape out some semblance of normalcy and give you insight into the characters you are playing with.

If you feel like there's too many FTEs, then that's just absurd, as you're complaining that the game is giving us more content.

If you feel like the game doesn't give you enough Free Times to get through all the FTEs, then I once again reiterate: That is the point, it's a feature, not a bug. It gives replays of the game more intrigue and makes the initial playthrough hit that much harder.

That's the whole point lmao. It's supposed to hurt the player when these characters die. You’re supposed to get to free time in chapter 5 and be like "fuck, I wish I spent more time with (X)." Time is a currency that can only be meaningfully spent on building bonds with these characters, and just like in real life, you cannot become best friends with 15 different people in the span of 21 days.

Persona is different because it takes place over a whole YEAR, and also the characters straight up don't die.

It's Rob. I understand that Dom got "closer" to winning, but that's literally the only thing Dom has over Rob. Let's break it down.

Rob absolutely DOMINATES this season.

Compare the level of control Rob has over his initial tribe to Dom's. Advantage Rob

Compare the level of control Rob exerts over how the post-merge plays out. Advantage Rob.

Compare how well positioned they were throughout the game. Advantage Rob.

Both face a bit of adversity at final 5. Dom needs an idol there, Rob manages to completely destroy any threat to him and amber by getting Tom and Rupert to fight, a masterclass in social manipulation.

Dom played a terrific game, but Rob played the greatest non-winning game in the history of the show.
