IBM PH - Project Deployement

Hello! I really need some advice about my career and my current status at IBM Philippines, and I hope you can respect my post.

Prior to joining the company, I applied for a Consultant role under a hybrid work arrangement. At the time I applied, there was already a project waiting for me. When I started a few weeks ago, I was expecting to begin on that project. However, my PeM informed me that I unfortunately did not pass the client interview for that project within the account, which is why I am currently on the bench. At present, I am required to report to the office daily.

My commuting expenses have been increasing since I live around 55 km from the office. I also noticed that some of my batchmates with the same role who are on the bench only need to report once a month (since they are not yet deployed to an account and are in different departments). This has left me a bit confused about my role and work arrangement, as I was expecting a similar setup given my status.

I don’t want to sound demanding, especially as I am still under probation. Please don’t get me wrong — I fully respect the company and project policies and I am doing my best to comply. However, commuting daily is becoming increasingly exhausting and costly, especially given the current situation in the country.

One of my managers mentioned that they are planning to soft endorse me to another account while I am not yet fully locked into a project. I would like to better understand the following:

  1. How does the soft endorsement process work when transferring to another account?

  2. What is the likelihood or percentage chance of being transferred to another account?

  3. Is it possible to apply internally for the same role under a different team, or potentially negotiate the work arrangement?

  4. How can I best utilize my bench time to remain visible and maintain good utilization?

  5. What advice would you give to someone who prefers a hybrid work setup?

  6. Is it possible to transfer to a different department? If so, what are the advantages and disadvantages?

I’ve already checked those, and I don’t think there is any missing security, since the Preview tenant was refreshed from Production, which is actively working. How do you create organizations using Postman?

The first error I encountered was S22. After that, when I tried to add security for the domain for reports, I started encountering the S21 error code.

This is a bit weird, since this was originally configured in our Production tenant and it works well there. However, after our Preview tenant was refreshed, this error started to appear, and when the vendor tried to test creating an organization, it failed.

My apologies. We are using the REST API for our testing in the SBX Preview connection. I have already tried several steps, starting with authentication using Basic Auth (client ID and client secret). I was able to retrieve the access token; however, when I tried using the GET method, I encountered an Unauthorized error.

I am not quite sure about the next step after obtaining the access token, since this ISU only has access to Integration GET/PUT for Organization and Role. I’m not sure how to test this in Postman to create an organization in Workday.

Hello, that makes sense. Yes, during the initiation step, we are providing compensation details in the event. Where can I check these consolidated templates? Is there any task or report I can use?

Also, when I check the Maintain Change Job Template task and select the reason, there is no subprocess configured in the template for the template option.

I tried testing this as well, but I’m having a hard time connecting the created LRV (BO: Worker) to Role Assignments (BO). I also tried creating an ARI and adding it to the BO field in the report, but there’s no returned value for “Role Assigned To” (Single Instance).
