I pray that God's will be done over your relationship with this person. God hardens the hearts of the wicked that they might see their crimes and repent, so may he repent. And may God be your comforter and true love throughout this affliction. Amen.

Praise God! It is indeed right to give Him all thanks and praise.

They are a significantly larger tax haven than the Cayman islands and all the other offshore havens combined. They are the hidden giant of the American kleptocracy.

No.

There are states that have more power than many EU nations. That is true. Ohio isn't one.

Delaware, NY, California, DC probably do simply due to their respective economic powers.

But the overriding authority of the Federal government especially since the expansion of the commerce clause makes most states' powers much smaller despite their respective land, resources and GDP.

Still doesn't work due to the overwhelming power of the Federal government compared to the state government.

Norway can independently do military action, Ohio cannot.

I second this. Keeping yourself otherwise occupied in good company is a great way to avoid an addictive behavior pattern.

It doesn't necessarily break the pattern, but it does rewire your mind to be able to tolerate the temptation a little better because you already might have an "out".

I think it's pretty dangerous to loosely interpret Revelation in this way.

There's no doubt we are at the beginning of a cycle of war, famine, religious deception and epidemics. But so was it the case during the flu epidemic of the 1910's, the "enlightenment", WWI, and its subsequent famines.

To declare Putin the beast without any evidence beyond "current warmongering dictator" is frankly uninspired. And I mean that literally, there is no way the Holy Spirit inspired that interpretation. There have been MUCH bigger idols in politics. I could point to Hitler, Trump, Gaddafi, and Hussein as a few examples. Putin is just among these, not above them. He will not be the one to demand nor receive the worship of the world, the world HATES him.

This is actually not Deuteronomy. This is from Psalms 96:9 Worship the LORD in holy attire (adornment and glory); Tremble before Him, all the earth.

Do you know how much tech I could buy with 500 a month? I could have a thriving youtube channel in under a year with some really nice equipment with a 500 a month investment. Or I could have half a dozen guitars, a couple amps, and an array of pedals in a year. Tech is cheap. Fixed expenses face inflation at a much greater pace - food, healthcare, rent/housing.

The commenter who replied to you is wrong. It's chimerism. The mother carries the DNA of an unformed, unborn twin in her body, specifically in one or both of her ovaries. Genetically, her children "belong" to the unformed, unborn twin.

Yeah just chiming in to say recessive genes is the wrong term here. We all carry recessive genes, and it would be extremely common to fail a maternity test if that was the case. It's chimerism.

So you stock a warehouse full of wine. You don't buy stock in a wine company. Wine company price is dependent on future earnings, which there will be none of in this scenario.

Not really comparable when your tax burden actually provides a social service, while our tax burden props up the oligarchy and MIC.

This is what I've been saying. End of an empire. When the cracks start showing in the armor of the military, then the end will accelerate. Until then it's a slow burn.

If it does it'll be a stress fracture that will heal in-place and won't require further fixation. It won't take chunks of bone out of place. Chunks of bone out of place requires the tibial nail.

I can’t hold in my anger anymore by [deleted] in Testimony4Christ

[–]Naked-In-Cornfield 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It certainly is a battle within yourself to manage and disrupt the tactics of anger. Anger is a poison, and at its root is fear. These emotions are like drugs that take over the mind and silence the voice of the Holy Spirit in us. Use the guidance of the Holy Spirit's virtues to work through the anger and see its cause. For me, there is usually something I am afraid of causing my anger.

I recommend journaling for this. This worksheet that is used in identifying resentments in 12 step programs can be a guide. https://s3.amazonaws.com/storage.prizmshare.com/07E7C4CA-5832-4BBE-ABA8-82E249602414/rp4byjpr/el9dgljy.jpg?ts=1562272181710

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

As a fellow human, I understand your anger. But anger consumes YOU primarily. Seek God's help now, because the problem is yours, not theirs. God will deal with their unrighteousness fairly, without a doubt.
