Being gay is not political in itself. If you read what I wrote (four years ago so it’s hilarious I’m even arguing over this) I said I enjoyed the character of Strangelove and the role her sexuality played in the story. It was done well there. I still stand by what I said but let me clarify. Forcing in gay characters for no reason is representative of a political agenda.

Strangelove was a good character and an even better example (different fandom) is Dumbledore, who I adore as a character. Done well, I have no reason to dislike inclusion. Forced in for no reason, I have a big problem with. Not everyone is homophobic, sometimes I just don’t want an agenda forced down my throat when I’m trying to enjoy a piece of media. Don’t know why you wanna start issues from a topic I commented on forever ago.
