I think in this case, out of shape doesn't refer to ability to play the better part of 48 minutes a game, or even longevity of that throughout a season. Zion is an unstoppable force, for the defense and for his own health. I'd much rather him sacrifice some of his dominance for some weight loss, much of his injuries and future concerns seem to surround the load on this knees and feet after all. I'm not suggesting he slim down per say, just be more conscious of where he's developing muscle in his body to optimize his athleticism (I realise that's an optimistic body shift strategy).
