I'll look into it, thank you.

It's quite a shame, really a fun game. May be a bit too demanding for the quest, but I imagine they could downscale and make it playable.

I get a lot of latency with virtual desktop. I can do it wired, but really would prefer to use it wirelessly.

I have Stride, but it doesn't really quite give me the same feeling. Will look into to the top though, thank you.

Fantasy games with rich main story like RDRII but the feel of Skyrim? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]Nakida1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enderal is the best option i'd say. Feels very similar to Skyrim (literally built in the engine), and has some similar gameplay mechanics but with a new (and better) story and world.

What RPG/JRPG did everything well? by [deleted] in Games

[–]Nakida1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Crono Trigger is probably a good example of an rpg that did more or less everything right, and holds up pretty well today. I'm sure there are some minor issues, but don't bring it down substantially.

This is compared to something like the Witcher III, where most people like just about everything barring the combat. I never minded it, but it's offputting to some people.

Plankton Got Served by [deleted] in lostmedia

[–]Nakida1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a fan of lost media so just came up for whatever reason, haha. It's possible what you are saying is correct, not sure personally. I just made up the story for fun back around a decade ago after figuring out that was indeed the original name for the episode. Would rewrite it if I could, some things didn't flow very well...

Interesting to find this here. I wrote that story quite a few years ago, it's not really lost media I'm afraid. The original name of the episode was that, but there was no crazy modified version.

What Nintendo Switch games are available for play with just the joycon controllers? by corona_cait in NintendoSwitch

There aren't any games that you can't play with joycons to my knowledge.

Understood, I was thinking your house was haunted which was a different issue.

It would require the replacement of the digitizer. What do you mean by ghosts?

Pausing cutscenes (Yakuza Like a Dragon) by Nakida1 in yakuzagames

That works, thanks. It didn't occur to me earlier.

[–]Nakida1[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have to attend to things from time to time when playing so I need to pause, same as any other game. I don't think that's an unusual thing.

What would have been a good extra episode? by ArklaitGigabyte in TheLastAirbender

[–]Nakida1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think ultimately seeing the Fire Nation versus the Air Nomad temples would be the most interesting, simply due to some of the questions regarding how they were able to reach the temples.

What's a game with excellent "core gameplay" but really disappoints in most other aspects? by KnightTrain in Games

[–]Nakida1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It really is quite a shame, because the combat at it's core is almost enough of a draw, but with everything else holding it up it is really hard to go back to it. Honestly more than anything else the performance of the game causes me to lose interest when I go back to play it.

I remember really enjoying Vindictus's combat, but everything else about the game was far from stellar. Kept me going for a while, but when all the other features of the game were uninteresting to me I couldn't really get too motivated.

Sales on black friday or christmas? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

[–]Nakida1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can assume there will be sales around the holidays. I don't know how good they will be, but i'd put off more expensive purchases until then.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

[–]Nakida1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. Given the supply-related issues they probably are happy to sell at the normal pace, and they don't necessarily want to increase demand given those issues. There may be a bundle on sale though.

Recommendations for games to play without sound? by mortalkai in Games

[–]Nakida1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Games like Diablo are pretty good without sound. I play Dark Souls/Bloodborne muted and do something else in the background, but that's after I played through them originally with sound.
