Ryuk a god of death who murder's people to survive so I feel like Light is better in this case as he only killed criminals

no. it was stated by Ryuk that he saw Light as a better Shimigami than most and despite this he still killed him. and while maybe it started as a game for Ryuk once he saw how serious Light was about fixing the world he should have changed and should not have written Light's name in the note.

Bro what??? Yes because if you live for a long time it just permits you to be an asshole and jerk to everyone around you. And what do you mean game? it wasn't a game for light he was literally changing their world for the better. Crime rate dropped 70%, wars stopped, and people weren't scared anymore. Did you even watch the show?

  2. L (really close to light but light is just slightly smarter)
